Opening night of Open Studios
The Mayor complimented the exhibitors on a very high standard and interesting variety of work. Mr Martin Verden, Chairman of The West House and Heath Robinson Memorial Trust said this was exactly the kind of event the gallery was intended for. The artists themselves all agreed that this was a fabulous space to showcase their work.
The exhibition is intended as a ‘Taster’ for the forthcoming Open Studios taking place over the next two weekends, where members of the public may visit the artists at their home studios, see their work, make a purchase or arrange a commission. Open Studios is now a well established annual event in the community.
Open Studios dates 9th – 11th and 16th – 17th June 2012, 10.00am – 6.00pm each day.
