Summer Holidays are calling...... It is that time of Year again that we all jet off on our Summer Holidays, for those who are fortunate enough to go abroad or even stay in England. You know you do it... As soon as the sun shines and we know we are going on holiday, we all rush out to buy new Summer clothes, accesories and shoes. You end up spending lots of money before you have even left the house for the holiday. I believe it is a feel good factor that makes us want to wear new clothes on holiday. Many of us have beach clothes or swimwear already but we all feel better if we buy a new item of clothing or a piece of swimwear or shoes.
Do you have the problem of what to pack and how to pack neatly and organised so you can fit more in?
Many of us pack too much and your suitcase is over loaded and too heavy for the baggage weight your airline states. Remember you get fined quite heavily if you do go over the weight, so it is worth cutting back on a few bits or even weighing the bag before you leave.
They say we only wear half of what we take and this is so true, so take time to keep looking what you have and even work out outfits to save time. I try to be an organised person, I try to pack seven evening outfits which can then be worn again the 2nd Week of the holiday. You spend most of the time in your swimwear, shorts and flip flops anyway!
Having had a fantastic opportunity to go away with my family for 2 Weeks to Spain recently - I realised how much we took which was less that normal and how little was worn still not worn.
Top Tip: Get organised and write lists. Pack a few Days before you go. This way you will know what you have and what you need to buy last minute. Cross check to your list the night before to ensure you have everything.
Happy Holidays where ever you are going and for those staying at home or traveling to another part of England. Enjoy! Happy Summer Holidays and do not forget your passport!
